Latvian Youth Choir "Kamēr...", conducted by Jānis Liepiņš, has won the V International Harald Andersén Chamber Choir Competition held in the Helsinki Music Centre on September 23rd and 24th 2016.

The winning choir was awarded a prize of 10 000 euros. New Dublin Voices, conducted by Bernie Sherlock, was awarded the second prize of 7 000 euros.

The third prize of the competition, 4 000 euros, was divided between two choirs: Estonian Collegium Musicale (conducted by Endrik Üksvärav) and Swedish St. Jacobs Ungdomskör (conducted by Mikael Wedar).

V International Harald Andersén Chamber Choir Competition is organized by the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. Pension Insurance Company Elo is the main cooperative partner of the competition. The jury consists of Fredrik Malmberg (Sweden), Ko Matsushita (Japan), Daniel Reuss (Germany), Marjukka Riihimäki (Finland) and Jaakko Mäntyjärvi (Finland).
